Meet & Greet with USFS Blackrock District Staff

March 18, 2025

On a grand scale, the U.S. Forest Service is a federal agency under the U.S. Department of Agriculture that manages 193 million acres of land—about the size of Texas—and with approximately 30,000 employees. But our USFS, the women and men that work to keep the Bridger-Teton National Forest the place we love so much, is about TK employees across six districts that span from Big Piney and Kemmerer in the south to Blackrock and Jackson in the north. And we want to facilitate the communities around the BTNF meeting and getting to know our USFS staff.

Join us from 5:30–7:30 p.m. March 18 at Turpin Meadow Ranch, in the BTNF’s Blackrock District, to learn more about FBT and your Blackrock BTNF USFS staff and their roles. Get to know each other and discover mutual goals for the communities you live in and serve. Free to attend and food and non-alcoholic beverages kindly donated by Turpin Meadow Ranch.

We acknowledge with respect that our facilities are situated on the aboriginal land of the Shoshone Bannock. Eastern Shoshone. Northern Arapaho. Crow. Assiniboine. Sioux. Gros Ventre. Nez Perce.
