Volunteer Willow Planting at Salt Creek

Help support the environment at Salt Creek by joining us on Public Lands Day, 9/28/24, in collaboration with the USFS, by volunteering to collect and plant willow cuttings along the creek.  Meet at Salt Creek 42.466442°, -110.967742°. Please arrive a little before 9am to fill out a volunteer liability form and learn about what the day will look like as well as why it is important.

Suggested pack list: work gloves, water, work boots or shoes that you are ok getting dirty, large loppers (if you have them), wear layers, and any sun/wind protection desired. The USFS will be providing all tools and snacks/refreshments for day of, but please feel free to bring anything that makes you more comfortable.
