With a free trail pass and free demos of the latest Nordic ski gear and fat bikes from local shops and suppliers, this annual event provides a unique opportunity to try out a new winter sport, enjoy new winter trails, and celebrate winter recreation with friends. Free classic and skate skiing lessons by Teton Co/Jackson Parks & Recreation, USFS winter nature talks, Kids Corral with sleds and skis from Snow King Mtn., snowshoe tours with Hole Hiking Experience, and backcountry Nordic ski tours by JH Ecotour Adventures are just some of the activities offered.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the newly formed Friends of the Bridger-Teton to support the Bridger-Teton National Forest in plowing the road to the Cache Creek trailhead.
This is a FREE community event open to all ages sponsored by the JH Nordic Alliance and generous support of the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board! Dogs are welcome with some leash restrictions. A free Town-to-Turpin shuttle is available by RSVP.
The JH Nordic Alliance will raffle prizes at the event including a beautifully illustrated Otso “Stay Wild” fat bike, 2 Stio jackets, Nordic Skis from Skinny Skis, and much much more. Raffle tickets are available for sale at The Hub Bicycles now and on-site at the event. To learn more about the event, free Town-to-Turpin shuttle, and raffle prizes go to JHNordic.com.
